Dr Di McAlister

MBChB, Dip Obst, FRACGP

Dr Di McAlister is a Kiwi who trained in Auckland.  She completed the Diploma in Obstetrics in 1982 and practised general practice for many years in Hamilton with an emphasis on women's health and GP obstetrics. 

Di then worked for several years at Waikato University Student Health.

Di is married to Cardiologist, Hugh who experienced a midlife crisis in 2007 and decided to move to Townsville.  She is now happily settled here with the youngest of their four children; loving the warmer weather and enjoying the bridge club.
