Dr Abid Vatani

Dr Abid Vatani graduated from Aarhus University in Denmark and is currently our GP Registrar.

She  arrived to Australia in December 2003 and worked in Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital, where she gained her Australian qualifications.

Abid has several years experience in Accident and Emergency Medicine and has also worked as a Registrar in Department of Paediatric & Neonatology at Ipswich Hospital.

She reluctantly relocated to North Queensland but since arrival she fell in love with the beautiful tropical Townsville and now calls Townsville home.

Her special areas of interest are Women's Health, including shared antenatal care, Sexual Health, Child and Adolescence Health.
